Connecting your cameras

Open the Ring app, go to the Ring Appstore, find Mission Control and tap Enable. Pick your cameras, then finish signing in on the page Ring opens. This is a separate account from your Ring login, and your Ring password is never entered here.

A camera won't go live

Check that it shows as online in the Ring app. Ring ends each live view after 60 seconds on wired cameras and 30 on battery cameras. On the live wall, wired cameras reconnect on their own, and you may see a brief pause when they do.

No motion or activity is showing

Mission Control only sees what your camera reports to Ring. In the Ring app, open the camera's Device Settings, then Motion Settings, and check that Motion Recording is on and your motion zones cover the area. Activity only appears from the moment you connected Mission Control.

Recordings or snapshots are missing

Recordings come from your Ring plan, so the camera must have been recording at that moment. If there's no recording, you'll see the closest picture Ring has, or none.

Battery cameras

In Settings, choose how each battery camera behaves: snapshot, live on hover, live on motion, or always. Streaming uses far more power than a snapshot.

Putting it on a TV

Sign in using your smart TV's web browser, or a computer connected to the TV, and press the fullscreen button. Each screen remembers which view it's showing.

Billing and cancelling

Subscriptions are billed through the Ring Appstore. Cancel at any time from My Apps in the Ring app, and you keep access until the end of the billing period.

Disconnecting and deleting your data

Remove Mission Control from My Apps in the Ring app to stop our access. To delete your account and everything tied to it, go to Settings and choose Delete my account, or email us.
